Capital campaign

The goat club
is moving barns.

The fair board has given the club the former swine barn, just south of the show arena, with room to keep growing for years. Getting it ready starts with pens that safely contain goats and fit the new space.

Still to raise

$150,000

For pens and the other upgrades the inherited barn needs.

$34,000 already committed. The board has chosen a quote and placed the down payment on new pens.

Ways to give

Why we’re asking

The goat club has outgrown its current space. The swine barn is large enough to let the club keep growing for many more years, but it came to us configured for a different animal. It needs work to meet the unique needs of a goat show.

The first and largest expense is pens. The board has selected a quote and placed a down payment of roughly $34,000. $150,000 remains to be raised, for the pens and for the other upgrades the barn needs.

We’re inviting community leaders to partner with us. This move improves the experience of every member of the club.

  • Healthier goats Better pens keep the animals healthy and comfortable through fair week.
